Kicking off our Dress for Success project. Quarterly CSBA Update offsite with the whole team and working with Dr Rebecca Chabot from Pure Wellness Tasmania.

Supporting the work of Dress for Success who provide clothing for women who may be seeking to re-enter the workforce, after a period of employment or returning to the community after a period of imprisonment. Easter and Anzac Day. Cheese and Wine with the CSBA Social Club.
Established in 1973 this is the oldest fun run in Tasmania! Held on Sunday 26 May includes 12k run, 7k run or walk and kids events. And a great opportunity to give blood at the Australian Red Cross Blood Drive.
>> Micro, Small and Medium Business Day
Micro, small and medium business account for 90% of businesses and up to 70% of employment worldwide! These businesses contribute to local and national economies and with support promote equitable economic growth. Recognised on Thursday 27 June. And End of Financial Year, Quarterly CSBA Update and EOFY Celebrations with the CSBA Social Club.

Celebrate International Day of Friendship on Tuesday 30 July this day was proclaimed in 2011 by the UN General Assembly with the idea that friendship between people, countries, cultures and individuals can build bridges between communities. And support the Collins SBA Team who are Spinning4Kids and Variety – the children’s charity Tasmania on the 6th July.
>> Dignity Drive and Grow A Small Business
Some people are forced to choose between buying period products, or food to eat. Menstruating isn’t a choice. We can help period poverty by donating products during the month of August. Share the Dignity was founded in 2015 and they have collected and distributed over 4 million period products. Talking small business growth hacks at the Grow A Small Business Meet Up
>> Footy Colours, R U OK and Grow A Small Business?
Stopping for a BBQ and to wear our Footy Colours on Friday 6 September to raise funds and awareness for kids living with cancer. Working with The Smith Family and the Work Inspiration Program. Every day is the day to start a meaningful conversation we those care about. We will also stop on Thursday 12 September to have a genuine conversation to help all of the team feel supported and connected. And celebrating Fathers Day, Quarterly CSBA Team Update and attending Grow A Small Business Meet Up.
The Variety TasBash is Tasmanian’s most iconic charity motoring event to start on Saturday 19 October. They explore Tassie’s beautiful towns and lesser-traveled back roads with a group of wacky friends in outrageously themed cares in celebration of a year’s worth of fundraising to make sure all kids get a fair go in life.

>> Hobart City Mission Food and Toy Drive
We have the opportunity to donate food and gifts for children to help make Christmas a little more special. We can host a Toy or Food Drive, make financial donations and volunteer at the distribution centre. Supporting the Christmas Party Tasmania. And Quarterly CSBA Update and End of Year.
